Cemetery Monument Installation – The Process
Over the years, we have found that the installation of a memorial is a part often overlooked. It is important that the installation is handled by professionals who have both the equipment and skills needed to properly and safely install a memorial.
People offer to install the monument themselves, but granite is heavy and frustratingly difficult to manoever. One wrong move and the stone could easily be chipped or cracked, let alone any injury you may cause to yourself. There goes your money, and you end up with a damaged memorial to show for it!
Most cemeteries provide installations for a fee, but many rural cemeteries do not offer that service and you are back to installing the headstone yourself. Just think . . . would you rather be installing a headstone at the risk of damaging it or even hurting yourself? Or would you rather be spending time relaxing with your family members and friends who have come to mourn their loss and yours, as you reflect on the memory of your loved one?
